Information Technology is excited to announce Bill Green has joined Southeast Missouri State University as our campus Information Security Officer. Bill is a native of Cape Girardeau and a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He comes to us from the University of California Riverside (UCR) where he was responsible for the campus-wide Point of Sale’s security and compliance and was the Governance, Risk, and Compliance Officer for UCR’s Information Security Office.

After graduating in 1992 with a Master’s Degree in History, Bill taught in several community colleges and did archaeological field work before entering the field of information technology. After 25 years in southern California, Bill is excited to come back Cape and join the Southeast community.
